Levelstate Systems manufacture all its water columns onsite in England.
All weld procedures are 3rd party witnessed by Royal & Sun Alliance
(formerly British Engine). All stages of manufacture from tackup to
pressure testing is overseen by RSA.
| Type 501
The Levelstate side arm water column is made of large bore
thick walled carbon steel extruded section conforming
to ASTM A105. The seamless section design and fabrication
meets the requirement of ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code.
The water column is designed to promote condensatnio of saturated
steam with minimum loss of temperature. Circulating condensate
in the water column flushes the vessel and probes continuously.
This prevents buildup of sediment and eliminates the need
for periodic blow down.
Specification
Rating: 150 bar at 341°C (2175 psi at 645°F)
Hydrostatic test at 225 bar (3265 psi) ambient temperature
Design standard ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code. |

| Type 503
The large bore thick walled carbon steel extruded water column
promotes condensate circulation. Continuous change of
fluid maintains minimum difference in temperature between
water column and boiler drum water. This substantially
minimizes error due to density differential. As a result
level monitoring is accurate from cold start up to normal
operation.
The clamp plate design water column has a long life, as there
is no exposed threaded nipple susceptible to mechanical
damage and galling.
Maintainance is simple and involves replacement of gaskets only. Absence
of metal to metal contact ensures long probe life.
Specification
Rating: 207 bar at 370°C (3000 psi at 700°F)
Hydrostatic test at 310 bar (4500 psi) ambient temp
Design standard ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code. |

|
| Type 502
The Type 502 water column is made of seamless pipe fabricated
with Swagelok type high pressure compression fittings.
The design is available in 12, 14, 16and 32 port versions
for use with Type 201, 202 and 203 electronic units with
a minimum probe pitch of 25mm.
Specification
Rating: 207 bar at 370°C (3000 psi at 700°F)
Hydrostatic test at 310 bar (4500 psi) ambient temperature
Design standard ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code. |

| Standpipe
The Standpipe of requisite NB, length and pressure rating
is manufactured to suit the installation requirements.
Probe bosses are welded on to the Standpipe.
Can be used with Probe Type 801, 802 or 803
Design standard ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code.
Specification
Rating: upto 207 bar at 370°C (3000 psi at 700°F)
Hydrostatic test at 310 bar (4500 psi) ambient temperature
Design standard ASME B31.1 Power Piping Code. |
